Sensory Fitness Offers Two Types of Fitness Sessions
Adaptive Training
Rotational Movement Training
The "adaptive" part of these training sessions is that they cater to the sensory needs and movement difficulties of the athletes. Anyone on the autism spectrum, struggling with sensory processing disorder, even ADHD, or other neurodiversity can often times have a "sensory difficulty" or "struggle with movement". Sensory Fitness takes these factors into account and designs the program accordingly. This could mean adding swings, deep pressure, reduce audio and visual stimulation, or just adding a little patients. Using sensory rich activities and modifying the environment allows us to focus on stability, strength, coordination, and motor skills. All of which help us with attention, behiaovr, and higher level thinking skills.
As a certified WeckMethod Rotational Movement Specialist, we utilize these incredible principles in this high intensity, super fun, effective workout session! Using WeckMethod tools and techniques combined with a high energy group we get stronger, move better, and have fun while doing it!

Learn how to "coil" your body to move more efficiently. Learn to roll ropes, use bands, and swing weighted objects to tap into your nervous system and apply all of this to everyday movements.

About: This class is for the adults but it's not what you think! This high paced, high energy, HIIT syle class is all about rotational movement and swinging things around to build that core, increase range of motion, stabilize joints, and whole body strength! Based off of WeckMethod's Rotational Movement Training© principles, we use RMT Clubs©, ProPulse Speed Trainers©, Kettlebells, maces, Bulgarian bags, RMT Ropes©, and whatever else we can get our hands on! Seriously, this class is awesome!
